Culinary tour

A culinary tour is one of the ways to get to know a country.

What you will see:

  • you will visit the main historical sites of Corfu Town
  • you will taste traditional Corfiot and Greek dishes
  • enjoy lunch at a traditional local tavern
  • you will communicate with the locals – you will feel the pulse of the island
 

While wandering around the capital with an English-speaking professional guide, Nausika, you will taste typical Corfiot snacks – spinach, cheesecakes, kumquat, the famous traditional butter, olives, olive oil, local drinks, ouzo…

You will hear many stories about each product – how to eat it, how to drink it, how to taste it, what to cook with it.

In Corfu Town, you will visit the Old Fortress, the Church of St. Spyridon, where the relics of the 4th-century saint are kept, you will walk through the old streets and squares of the city, and admire the city and its fountains.

You will taste cheesecake, spinach pie, loukoumades (donuts), Greek yogurt and ginger beer from Corfu. You will taste sweet halva together with cheese, honey, olive oil, fruits and nuts

Your excursion will culminate with lunch at a restaurant – here you will be served pastitsada and sofrito . Corfu.

Don’t eat too much before the excursion, prepare your stomach for a large amount of food.

Departure: Mondays, Fridays

Tour starts at 10:00 at the Old Fortress, the Schulenburg statue.

Price: adults – 90 EUR, children 4-11 years old – 65 EUR, children under 4 years old free.

The price includes: breakfast, lunch, snacks, alcohol during lunch, water, professional guide services.

The price does not include: transportation, if necessary, personal expenses.
